A leaked quick-start manual has confirmed that the Nexus 4 will come with wireless charging.

The highly anticipated 4-inch smartphone will include an induction coil at the back of the device, between the Nexus logo at the top and LG’s branding on the lower half of the smartphone. A few pages in, the manual mentions the “wireless charger” directly, and notes that Nexus 4 owners must only “use an approved model.”

Pocket-Lint reports that the smartphone will come with only 8GB of internal storage, and because the device lacks a micro-SD slot, users will not be able to top-up their storage. A 16GB model may be on the way, according to reports.

The leaks were spotted after LG Australia released the product pages overnight, which included the device’s manual. While the page is no longer active, Google stored a cached version.

The Nexus 4 is expected to include 2GB of RAM, a 1.5 GHz quad-core Snapdragon processor, an 8-megapixel rear camera, and near-field communications (NFC) for wireless payments.

Google was forced to cancel the Nexus 4’s launch, originally set for this morning in New York, because of the imminent arrival of Hurricane Sandy. Also at the event, Google was expected to show off its new 7-inch and 10-inch Nexus tablets, along with the next iteration of Android, version 4.2.

The search-turned-mobile giant said it would let the media know when the event will be rescheduled.  We will give you an update as soon as we know.  For those of you in Sandy’s path, we ask that that protect you and your family to the utmost.  Our prayers go out to you all !!!
