The world may have it’s eyes on the recently announced Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini, but check out what Japan just got. Samsung and NTT DoCoMo have launched a new Samsung Galaxy S3 model, the “Samsung Galaxy S3 Alpha”.
This version of the Galaxy S3 will not only arrive in a different shade, but will also carry similar hardware as the Galaxy Note 2. It has a similar Exynos 4412 1.6GHz quad-core processor, and 2GB RAM.
You also get Android 4.1 Jelly Bean right out of the box and LTE compatibility. No info on pricing or whether it will show up outside of Japan. When we learn more we will let you know. “Samsung is definitely making sure that they have all bases covered with all the variations of the GALAXY S3.
My question right now is…How is Apple and the iPhone 5 going to cope with this onslaught of competitive devices and strong marketing tactics by Samsung? If we consider all the other Android options presently available, things will surely begin to look bleak for Apple in the very near future“.
